CREATINE
The scoop
What Grinds my Gears?
Creatine
When people try to build muscle they lift weights. Many people use supplements to help reach their goals. Creatine is a widely known supplement. But how much do people really know about it?
Creatine is most commonly used for improving exercise performance and increasing muscle mass in athletes. It is a chemical that is found in the body. It is found mostly in muscles and in the brain. It is also found in foods such as red meat and seafood.
Today I am going to be comparing two kinds of creatine, Creatine Monohydrate and Creatine Hydrochloride (HCL). Creatine Monohydrate is the more common creatine. It gives you fast results in a few days. What it does is it puts water retention right under your skin and not into your muscle directly so it will make you look puffy or almost bloated to make them look bigger.
Hydrochloride Creatine is a better creatine. It is a better creatine because it puts water directly into your muscle to not just to make them look bigger but to make them actually bigger. It is scientifically proven that this creatine also gives you the fuller feeling in your muscle. HCl has been shown to be 40x more soluble in fluid than creatine Monohydrate so it wont build up in your system so it will be absorbed properly. Both are naturally occurring inside of your body and the breakdown of creatine. Research has reported that less than 3% of the original amount of creatine is transported across the intestinal cells within 90 minutes. If you are to take Creatine as a supplement I recommend taking Creatine Hydrochloride.
